Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi met with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir during his visit to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
Modern.az reports that during the meeting, the security situation in the region, increasing tensions in the Middle East, and prospects for diplomatic talks were discussed. The parties also exchanged views on political, security, and regional cooperation issues between Iran and Pakistan.
During the meeting, the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, as well as the possibilities of resolving regional problems through political and diplomatic means, were also discussed.
It should be noted that Abbas Araqchi will also hold meetings with other high-ranking representatives of the Pakistani leadership within the framework of the visit.(Irna.ir)
