US President Donald Trump has signed a decree on the establishment of the US Space Academy.

Trump made the announcement during his speech at the awards ceremony for American astronauts at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
According to the US president, the country will need to train an entire generation of qualified military personnel, engineers, civilian operators, and other specialists for space exploration.
Trump stated that he would sign a decree on the start of the process of establishing a new national academy. He then signed the relevant document.
The new educational institution will be called the US Space Academy.
