Armenia's newly elected National Assembly is discussing on August 27 a bill on amendments to the law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government" submitted by the government.
Modern.az reports that the legislative initiative was presented at the parliamentary session by Armenian Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan.
According to the bill, the Armenian government proposes to change the names of three ministries. Thus, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry is planned to be replaced by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence.
In addition, it is proposed to rename the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs as the Ministry of Labor and Welfare.
If the bill is adopted, the changes will be reflected accordingly in the structure of the Armenian government.
