Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has issued a stern warning that energy exports from the region could be halted.

Modern.az reports that Ghalibaf wrote on the social network “X” that the essence of the conflict can be expressed by the principle of “all or nothing.”

According to him, if Iran cannot sell oil or the country's security is not ensured, no country in the region will be able to export energy carriers.

Ghalibaf also stated that as long as US forces are in the region, the situation in the strait will not return to its pre-war state.

Although the name of the strait was not specifically mentioned in the statement of the Iranian Parliament Speaker, it is understood that the conversation is about the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait of Hormuz is of strategic importance for the transportation of oil and other energy resources from the Middle East to world markets.

Ghalibaf's words indicate that Iran's position on energy exports and security issues in the region has hardened against the backdrop of the conflict.
