US President Donald Trump's public support rating has sharply declined, according to recent poll results.
Modern.az reports that, according to a poll conducted by "Reuters" and "Ipsos", Trump's rating dropped from 36% to 34%, reaching its lowest level.
The poll states that one of the main reasons for the drop in ratings is the increasing cost of living, and especially the rise in gasoline prices. More than 40% of respondents rated the economic situation negatively, while only 27% supported Trump's economic policy. It was noted that only 22% positively received the steps taken towards price regulation.
At the same time, tensions with Iran also had a negative impact on public opinion. According to the poll results, only 34% of Americans support the policy in this direction.
