Zelensky imposed sanctions on Lukashenka's sons

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions on Viktor and Dmitry Lukashenka, sons of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenka, for a period of 10 years.

Modern.az reports that the relevant decree has been published on the head of state's website.

The sanctions list also includes Pavel Muraveyko, Chief of the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces. In total, restrictions have been applied to 16 citizens of the country.

Sanctions include standard measures such as freezing of assets, suspension of commercial operations, economic and financial obligations, cancellation of official visits, and deprivation of Ukrainian state awards.

In addition, Ukraine has also imposed sanctions against 11 legal entities. These include the Minsk Termoplast Plant, the Minsk Civil Aviation Plant, the Vitebsk Electric Measuring Devices Plant, and the Borisov Plastic Products Plant. The restrictions imposed on the companies are also set for a period of 10 years and cover the same list of measures.
