Conflicts around Iran and Ukraine can end within the same timeframe.
Modern.az reports that US President Donald Trump stated this after a conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
"Which war will end first? They can end at the same time. I think Ukraine has been militarily defeated," the American leader said in an interview with CNN.
"You wouldn't know it from the fake news, but militarily... They had 159 ships and every single one of them is now underwater. That's pretty good, generally. They're going to have a hard time rebuilding their fleets. Do you think they're doing well if they don't have a navy, air force, and air defense systems?" Trump added.
CNN noted that Trump confused Ukraine with Iran in his statement.
Trump had previously stated that he spoke with the Russian president "a little bit about Iran," but it turned out the conversation was about Ukraine. "
