The "Nagorno-Karabakh" issue was a trap for the independent Republic of Armenia.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan in an interview with "Deutsche Welle".
According to him, this trap was set so that Armenia would never become a fully independent state.
"At the same time, Azerbaijan would not be less dependent on it. This would be a lever of influence. We have already said this: the page of the "Karabakh movement" is closed and we should not return to this issue again. This is the only right way," Simonyan added.
