US President Donald Trump announced that the US Armed Forces, in a joint operation with Nigerian servicemen, neutralized Abu Bilal al-Mainuqi, one of the high-ranking leaders of the ISIS terrorist group.
Modern.az reports that the US leader shared this on the “Truth Social” social network.
“Abu Bilal al-Mainuqi, considered the second highest-ranking leader of ISIS in the world, thought he could escape to Africa and hide. But he didn't know that we had sources informing us about his activities. He will no longer terrorize people in Africa and will not participate in planning operations against Americans,” Trump said.
