Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called on the country's population to prepare for difficult days.
Modern.az reports with reference to local media that he actually called on the country's citizens to reconcile with inflation, scarcity and a decrease in living standards. He stated that Iran is currently “in a state of war”.
According to the president, the country has suffered serious damage. Gas infrastructure, power plants, petrochemical sector and industrial areas have been damaged, and oil exports have become seriously difficult.
Pezeshkian noted that daily gasoline production has fallen to approximately 100 million liters. However, the daily demand in the country is around 150 million liters.
