In India, a crocodile attacked people during a woman's funeral ceremony. The predator grabbed a man from among the ceremony participants, dragged him into the river, and dismembered him. The crocodile's victim was the son-in-law of the deceased woman whose funeral was being held.
Modern.az reports that "The Times of India" newspaper published this information.
The 30-year-old son-in-law had come with his wife and daughter to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law, Urmila Devi.
The incident occurred on the bank of the Gangahara River, during preparations for the cremation ceremony. The crocodile grabbed the man by the head, and it was impossible to remove him from the animal's jaws.
The dismembered p was found days later, a short distance from the scene of the incident.
