Ukraine has struck military and energy facilities in the Russian cities of Taganrog, Voronezh, and Tuapse.
Modern.az reports that Rostov Oblast Governor Yuri Slyusar announced that a missile was shot down by air defense forces over Taganrog during an air attack on the morning of May 27.
According to him, two women were injured as a result of falling missile debris. One of the injured was hospitalized in serious condition. The governor stated that missile fragments fell on Tsiolkovsky Street. Aviation Repair Plant No. 325 is located in that area.
According to Astra publication's analysis of witness footage, a large fire broke out on the plant's territory after the attack. The enterprise specializes in the repair of An-12, An-72, and Il-76 military transport aircraft, Su-24 front-line bombers, Su-25 attack aircraft, as well as Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters. The plant has been subjected to sanctions by the European Union, the United States, and Ukraine due to Russia's war against Ukraine.
Voronezh Oblast Governor Alexander Gusev stated that "two high-speed targets" were detected and destroyed over Voronezh in the morning.
"There are no injuries. Falling debris damaged a tire repair point and a household wagon," he noted.
Ukraine's "Exilenova+" monitoring channel claims that these were "Storm Shadow" missiles fired at the "Baltimore" military airfield located in Voronezh. Su-34 aircraft are reportedly stationed at that airfield. It is noted that a column of black smoke rose over the airfield after the strike.
In addition, the oil refinery in Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, was attacked again last night. It is not clear from the images released by "Astra" whether the enterprise was damaged. Local authorities have not yet made an official statement regarding the incident.
