Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze called politician Giorgi Kandelaki, co-author of a report on the growing influence of Iran in the country, a “traitor.”
Modern.az reports that Kobakhidze sharply criticized the findings of the US "Hudson Institute" report presented in Washington.
The Prime Minister particularly emphasized the importance of bilateral trade relations between Georgia and Iran. Following him, other representatives of the ruling Georgian Dream party also accused Giorgi Kandelaki of treason and demanded his prosecution.
