After the US attacks on the Bandar-Abbas railway, the Iranian Railways Administration changed passenger transportation.
Modern.az reports with reference to APA that the Iranian Railways Administration announced that after the attack on a part of the railway line located in Hormuzgan province last night, there were restrictions on the movement of passenger trains on this route.
According to the information, passengers departing from or arriving at Bandar-Abbas station located in Hormuzgan province are first transported by buses to Fin station located in the same province, and then continue their journey by train.
It should be noted that Bandar-Abbas railway station was targeted by the US last night. As a result of the incident, 2 people were injured and the station was damaged.
Bandar-Abbas railway station is considered one of the main railway junctions in southern Iran. The connection of the station with Shahid Rajai port turns this complex into one of the main points of the international North-South transport corridor.
