The 36th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice has sent the decision on the Republican People's Party (CHP) congress case to the Supreme Court for cassation review.
Modern.az reports that, according to the decision, the issue of temporarily removing Özgür Özel and the party leadership from office due to “absolute invalidity” and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his team taking over the party's administration was considered.
It should be noted that the 36th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice examined and decided on the lawsuit regarding the annulment of the CHP's 38th Congress, held on November 4-5, 2023, on May 21.
After the parties' appeals against the decision, the court sent the case file to the 3rd Civil Chamber of the Turkish Supreme Court for cassation review.
After the case materials are received by the 3rd Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court, a cassation review will be conducted, and a final decision will be made regarding the CHP congress case.
