Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez will watch the final match between the national teams of Spain and Argentina from the stadium.
Modern.az reports that sources in the Spanish government have released information about this.
Sánchez will travel to the USA to watch the final match, which will be held on July 18 at the “MetLife” stadium in New York. He will watch the match in the VIP box together with King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain.
According to sources, Pedro Sánchez will not be accompanied by his wife Begonya Gómez on the trip.
Sánchez will head to Algeria immediately after the final match and will hold official meetings in that country on Monday.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Pedro Sánchez's participation in the Spanish national team's match in the final stage of the tournament has been questioned. The Prime Minister also did not go to the semi-final match against France in Arlington on Tuesday. On that day, Sánchez was in Paris, participated in Bastille Day events, and met with the mayor of the French capital.
