Russia has accepted the proposals put forward by US President Donald Trump in Alaska.
Modern.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this at a press conference following his talks with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
“We have accepted Trump's proposals put forward in Alaska. Trump is being tried to be distanced from these proposals by his European allies and, of course, Mr. Zelensky,” Lavrov said.
“Let the US President's special representative Steve Uitkoff and the US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner deal with the tasks set by the President. We are solving our own tasks. President Vladimir Putin has clearly stated that this work, which we started after all attempts to regulate the situation peacefully failed, in a situation where all those who signed the previous documents lied and later admitted that they did not want to fulfill them, will be completed,” the Russian Foreign Minister added.
