Modern.az reports that a number of well-known Turkish artists, including Kerem Bürsin and Eda Ece, have been interrogated as part of an investigation into the activities of the "Ahbap" charity foundation, which was established after the 2023 earthquakes.
According to local media, the investigation is looking into information about possible financial irregularities in the use of donated funds.
It should be noted that within the framework of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Republic Prosecutor's Office regarding the "Ahbap" charity foundation, a decision was also made to detain the founder of the foundation, Haluk Levent. According to the investigation materials, it is alleged that he bet a total of 990 million Turkish liras between 2020 and 2026, losing 390 million Turkish liras of it.
