Azerbaijan's renowned khananda was detained at an Iranian airport.
Modern.az reports that, according to Manset.az, the khananda, Honored Teacher Qazanfar Abbasov, was detained at the airport while traveling from Iran to Baku.
The reason for his detention is unknown.
Q. Abbasov confirmed the information to the website but could not provide detailed information, and his phone was subsequently turned off.
