The 84-year-old specialist felt unwell shortly before the match between Manchester United and Liverpool in the 35th round of the English Premier League. It is reported that Ferguson was taken under medical supervision as a precautionary measure and is expected to continue his treatment at home in the near future.
It should be noted that Alex Ferguson coached Manchester United from 1986 to 2013. Under his leadership, the team became English champions 13 times, won the FA Cup five times, and won the UEFA Champions League twice.
