A meeting of delegations led by the presidents of Turkey and the USA has begun.
Modern.az reports that the meeting is expected to discuss the state of Turkey-US relations, prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation, and issues on the regional and international agenda.
The meeting, which was closed to the press, was attended by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Head of the National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, President's Communications Director Burhaneddin Duran, Head of the Presidential Administration Hasan Doğan, President's Advisor for Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Turkey's Ambassador to Washington Sedat Önal.
