A particularly large quantity of narcotic substance was discovered this time inside a "watermelon" cargo.
Modern.az reports that employees of the Astara Customs Department conducted a customs inspection of a vehicle transporting a cargo of “fresh watermelons” from Iran to Russia, transiting through Azerbaijani territory.
Since the canine service dog reacted to the boxes containing watermelons, the cargo was subjected to a thorough inspection.
At this time, 27 kilograms 845 grams of narcotic substance – hashish – with a net pure weight, hidden inside 12 watermelons in the boxes, was discovered.
