The VIII summit of the European Political Community will be held in Yerevan on May 4 this year. Leaders of many countries will attend the event.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also invited Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the summit.
It is interesting whether the President of Turkey will go to Yerevan.
In his statement to Modern.az, Şamil Ayrım, a deputy from the ruling Justice and Development Party of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan friendship group, stated that President Erdoğan's visit to Yerevan will not take place.
“The VIII meeting of the European Political Community will take place in Yerevan on May 4. There is very little time left for the event. It does not seem possible for our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to visit Yerevan to attend the meeting,” Ş. Ayrım emphasized.
