The attack on Russian leader Vladimir Putin's residence "angered" US President Donald Trump.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian President's aide Yuri Ushakov.
According to Ushakov, during a phone conversation with Trump, Putin stated that he would not leave "Kyiv's terrorist actions" unanswered, referring to the attempted drone attack on his residence in Valdai. The Ukrainian authorities deny any involvement in the incident.
Ushakov quoted Trump as saying: "Thank God we did not give "Tomahawk" missiles to (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelensky." He added that the US President, when speaking about Kyiv's attempt to attack Putin's residence, said that he "could not even imagine such crazy actions."
Putin informed Trump that Russia's position would be reconsidered in connection with "state terrorism carried out by Kyiv."
