"Russia is rapidly modernizing its drones and changing its tactics. The Armed Forces of Ukraine must strengthen the development of anti-drones."

Modern.az reports that this was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi. He noted that Russia is actively using bad weather conditions, modernizing its attack drones, and changing tactics, particularly by attacking at very low altitudes. According to Syrskyi, in these circumstances, the main task of the Ukrainian army is to increase the number of means to counter drones.

"At this stage, our main task is to strengthen the role of UAV-destroying weapons, increase the number of relevant drones, ground stations, and radars, and enhance the volume and quality of crew training. Interception lines are being established within a layered system at a certain distance from large cities," noted the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He also stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to create separate battalions of unmanned aerial defense systems and establish regular interceptor anti-drone units in training centers.
