Today, a farewell ceremony for the p of Iran's slain supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, will begin in Tehran.
Modern.az reports that, according to “Tasnim”, this was stated by Mohsen Mahmudi, head of Iran's Islamic Coordination Council.
He noted that the farewell ceremony, which will begin at the Imam Khomeini prayer hall in Tehran, will continue day and night for three days.
The supreme leader's p will be taken to Mashhad after the farewell ceremony and buried there.
The Iranian government has declared 40 days of national mourning following Khamenei's death.
It should be recalled that the US and Israel have attacked Iranian territory since February 28, causing destruction and casualties. In response, Iran launched missile strikes against Israel and US military bases in the Middle East region.
