The US announced the names of the first soldiers killed in the war.
Modern.az reports that the US has announced the names of the first American soldiers killed in the war with Iran. The Trump administration warned that an escalation of the conflict could claim more American lives.
Currently, four of the six deceased US service members were members of a unit of the US Army Reserve from Iowa.
According to the US Army, they were killed on Sunday when an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) crashed into a US military facility in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait.
The Army announced the names of the four deceased service members as follows:
Captain Cody A. Khork, 35, from Winter Haven, Florida.
Sergeant First Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, from Bellevue, Nebraska.
Sergeant First Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, from White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
Sergeant Declan J. Coady, 20, from West Des Moines, Iowa. (Reuters)
