According to the information, on the 55th day of the operation, the US budget expenditures exceeded 61 billion dollars. It is reported that currently more than 11.5 thousand dollars are spent from the US treasury every second.
The portal notes that the data is updated in real time and the calculations include personnel maintenance, ships sent to the region and other related expenses. The calculation methodology is based on the reports submitted by the Pentagon to Congress. These reports show that 11.3 billion dollars were spent in the first six days of the operation, and daily expenses reached approximately 1 billion dollars in the subsequent period.
