Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not attend the Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9 due to the election campaign in his country.
Modern.az reports that Pashinyan told reporters about this on May 7.
He also said that he had informed Russian President Vladimir Putin that he would not be able to attend the parade.
"During my visit to Russia in April, I informed the Russian President that I would not be able to participate in the events planned for May 9 due to the election campaign. I have already announced that I will participate in the election campaign," Pashinyan said.
Parliamentary elections in Armenia will be held on June 7.
