It has been revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a secret visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) amid recent military operations against Iran.
Modern.az reports that the Israeli Prime Minister's office issued an official statement on the matter.
During the visit, Netanyahu met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Regional security and bilateral cooperation issues were discussed at the meeting.
"This visit led to a historic breakthrough in relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates," the office's official statement emphasized.
