US President Donald Trump spoke about the importance of relations between the US and China during an official reception held within the framework of his visit to China.
Modern.az reports that Trump stated in his speech that there are “deep and lasting ties” between the two nations.
“The people of the United States and China are united by a very special relationship,” he emphasized.
The US president also highly appreciated the meetings held with the Chinese delegation.
“Today we had extremely positive and productive discussions and meetings with the Chinese delegation,” Trump noted.
He stated that the people of the United States and China have many common values:
“We value hard work. We value courage and achievements. We love our families and our countries.”
According to Trump, based on these values, the parties have the opportunity to build greater prosperity, cooperation and peace in the future.
