Venezuela's former president Nicolas Maduro is allegedly being held in the same cell with 18 prisoners.
Modern.az reports that his son Guerra Maduro told this to the German publication Der Spiegel.
According to him, American rapper Tekashi was also among Maduro's cellmates for some time.
"My family has no connection with drugs or terrorists. All this is a political process," said Guerra Maduro.
He noted that the US operation to kidnap his father was unexpected for the family.
"Caracas did not correctly assess its capabilities and could not adequately protect the former leader," he added.
