Uganda's Ministry of Health has temporarily banned handshakes and other dangerous greetings due to the Ebola epidemic.

“The Ministry of Health announced a temporary ban on handshakes and other physical greetings after two cases of Ebola virus infection were confirmed in citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) who crossed the Ugandan border,” the publication noted.
The measure aims to reduce physical contact and prevent further spread of the virus.
