The X platform has tightened sharing limits for free users.
Modern.az reports, citing the "Mashable" platform, that according to updates made in the Platform's Help Center, unpaid accounts will now be able to make a maximum of 50 original shares per day.
According to the new rules, users without a Premium subscription will be able to send 50 posts, 200 replies, and 500 direct messages per day. The interesting thing is that the previous limit was 2400 shares per day. This is considered a significant reduction, especially for active users and automated accounts.
X explained the reason for this change by its desire to reduce the load on the platform's technical infrastructure, maintain system stability, and prevent malfunctions and error pages. The company also stated that users will be warned when they reach the limit, and time-based limits will be updated after a certain period. In addition, these limits may be temporarily further reduced during periods of high activity on the platform.
