Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Georgia on July 2-3.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that within the framework of the visit, meetings of the Uzbek leader with Georgian President Mikheil Kavelaşvili and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze are planned in Tbilisi.
During the talks between the parties, further deepening of political dialogue, expansion of trade and economic cooperation, as well as implementation of joint projects in the fields of industry, energy, logistics and information technologies will be discussed.
At the end of the visit, a package of interstate agreements aimed at developing cooperation between the two countries is expected to be signed.
