A final declaration was adopted at the 36th NATO leaders' summit in Ankara.
According to Modern.az, the declaration states that alliance members have committed to further expand cooperation with the defense industry to strengthen collective defense capabilities, increase military production potential, and accelerate innovation.
The document also noted that NATO allies have committed to allocating a total of 70 billion euros to support Ukraine in 2026.
The final declaration reaffirmed adherence to Article 5 of the Washington Treaty, one of NATO's core principles. The document emphasizes that an attack against one of the alliance members will be considered an attack against all allies, and an unwavering commitment to transatlantic solidarity will be maintained.
