The US Embassy in Armenia announced that representatives of the American engineering and consulting company AECOM visited Armenia last week.
Modern.az reports that, according to information released by the embassy, the AECOM team, together with partners of the Armenian government, explored areas designated for the development of railways and other infrastructure within the framework of the TRIPP project.
The statement noted that the project should serve to accelerate economic growth, expand transport links, and strengthen regional integration.
The visit is considered another example of the US's interest in developing Armenia's transport and logistics capabilities.
