A ban on the use of Russian in Latvian state media is proposed.
Modern.az reports that, according to the Latvian state television and radio portal LSM, it is proposed to stop Russian-language broadcasts in the country's state media.
Culture Minister Nauris Puntulis stated that Russian-language content in the country's mass media should be removed. Previously, the minister had instructed subordinate institutions to stop using Russian in public spaces.
