Ukraine attacked various regions of Russia with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that a UAV strike hit a logistics center in Kotovsk, Tambov region. According to regional governor Yevgeny Pervyshov, 7 people working the night shift died during the incident.
According to preliminary information, 25 people sustained injuries of varying degrees. Of these, 23 were hospitalized in Kotovsk, Tambov, and regional hospitals. The condition of one of the injured is extremely serious, 6 people are in serious condition, and 16 people are in moderate condition. Most of the injuries are noted to be shrapnel wounds.
Emergency medical teams, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees, firefighters, and law enforcement officers were dispatched to the scene. Although the fire at the logistics center was extinguished, security measures continue in the area.
At the same time, Moscow region also suffered UAV attacks. According to regional governor Andrey Vorobyov, a total of 26 people were injured as a result of the attacks.
24 of the injured were recorded at a warehouse complex in Elektrostal. Two more people received assistance in Noginsk, where a fire broke out at an oil depot as a result of a UAV crash.
In connection with the incident, a maternity hospital located near the oil depot was evacuated. Patients and medical staff were transferred to other hospitals. Women in need of special medical care were placed in medical facilities in Noginsk, Balashikha, and Shchelkovo. In addition, residents of a nearby multi-apartment residential building were also evacuated.
