We are in the first place in the world in terms of the number of countries to which we supply gas through pipelines. This number is increasing.
Modern.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said these words in an interview with "Euronews" television on May 18.
"10 member states of the European Union are our customers. In total, 12 European countries buy gas from Azerbaijan. The number of countries is increasing," said our head of state, emphasizing that the number of applications from countries wishing to start cooperation with us is also increasing.
