The opening of borders and the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey is now only a matter of time.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the 8th Peace Forum held in Paris.
According to Pashinyan, there are currently no serious obstacles to this process between the two countries.
“No significant obstacles remain. It just takes time,” he emphasized.
Although the Armenian Prime Minister did not specify an exact date, he expressed confidence that Ankara and Yerevan would establish political and economic cooperation in the future.
“A time will come when Armenia and Turkey will become normal neighbors,” Pashinyan added.
He also drew attention to the new reality that has emerged in the region: “We have peace, and this is a reality. This is a historic change not only in our relations with Azerbaijan but for the region as a whole.”
