Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has threatened to stop emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine.
Modern.az reports that, as a condition, he demanded Kyiv restore the transit of Russian oil to Slovakia via Ukrainian territory within two days.
Slovakia and Hungary are still the only EU countries significantly dependent on Russian oil via the Soviet-era Druzhba pipeline. Main pipeline supplies of Russian oil have been halted since January 27, while Slovakia provided 18% of Ukraine's record electricity imports last month. (Reuters)
