British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has dismissed Olli Robbins, head of the diplomatic service and deputy foreign minister, due to loss of confidence.
Modern.az reports that “The Telegraph” newspaper published information about this.
“Olli Robbins, Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign Office, will leave his post after losing the confidence of the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper,” the material noted.
The information states that Robbins was removed from his post after a phone conversation with Starmer on Thursday. His dismissal is reportedly related to an enhanced review of the Foreign Office's operations.
