Ukraine has offered cooperation to Caucasus countries in the field of air defense (AD) and drone protection.
Modern.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on his "Telegram" channel.
"Ukraine is currently actively working with countries in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf. We are preparing for cooperation with Caucasus countries and are negotiating with other partners, and I want to emphasize that Ukraine offers a complete defense system, not just drones," it was noted.
Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine proposes to build an integrated defense cooperation system:
"For example, Arab states have strong missile defense, and we help them build defense against 'shaheds' and at sea. It is precisely such an integrated defense that needs to be created for Europe as well, to protect borders, coasts, the sea, and infrastructure."
According to him, against the backdrop of increasing risks in the region and the world, as well as the constant improvement of weapons, especially UAVs, the SAFE program is not enough.
