The US will not achieve its goals by blockading Iranian ports from the sea.
Modern.az reports that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated this in an interview with local media.
"Any attempt to impose a blockade or restrictions from the sea is contrary to international law and is doomed to failure." Such measures "not only do not strengthen regional security, but are in fact a source of tension and destabilize the Gulf," the Iranian president noted.
It should be recalled that a few days after declaring a ceasefire with Iran, the US blockaded Iranian ports from the sea on April 13. Iran strongly condemned the blockade, calling it a violation of the ceasefire
