According to the information, local residents reported hearing loud sounds resembling an explosion coming from various directions of the city. The agency noted that the exact source and cause of these sounds are currently being investigated.
In addition, the "Mehr" agency reported that similar sounds were recorded on Qeshm Island.
Investigations into the matter are currently ongoing.
