Details have emerged about yesterday's summoning of Armenia's ambassador to Moscow, Gurgen Arsenyan, to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Modern.az reports, citing Russian media, that tough talks were held with the ambassador at the Ministry.

"The anti-Russian rally organized in Yerevan on the eve of May 9 and Zelensky's direct threats regarding terrorist attacks voiced in the Armenian capital, with the silent consent of everyone present, contradict the alliance commitments and friendship guarantees given by the Armenian leadership in Moscow," the statement said.

It is reported that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed its dissatisfaction to the Armenian side regarding these issues and emphasized that it did not consider what happened to be in line with the allied relations between the two countries.

Armenia's ambassador to Moscow, Gurgen Arsenyan, was summoned to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday. The diplomat was informed that it is absolutely unacceptable to provide a platform in the republic for Zelensky to voice terrorist threats against Russia.
