The US administration has completely rejected Iran's 14-point plan for resolving the conflict.
Modern.az reports that "Tehran Times" published this news.
According to the newspaper, Tehran received a response from Washington to its written proposals. The US rejected all of Iran's proposals and stated that it remains committed to its policy of pressure, especially regarding Tehran's nuclear program.
"Tehran Times" notes that if Washington accepts Iran's proposals, Tehran is ready to start the second phase of negotiations.
On May 10, Iran submitted its response to the US proposals for resolving the conflict in the Gulf region to Pakistan. According to sources of "The Wall Street Journal", Tehran rejected the dismantling of nuclear facilities - which is a demand of Washington.
The newspaper also reports that Iran indicated it could agree to suspend uranium enrichment, but for a shorter period than the 20 years demanded by the US.
US President Donald Trump later called Tehran's response "unacceptable".
