The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has established 59 police posts on the border with Russia to prevent the illegal export of fuel from the country.
Modern.az reports that Kazakh media disseminated information about this.
It was stated that, according to current rules, only the amount of fuel that fits into the car's tank is allowed to be taken out of the country. Transporting fuel in additional tanks or by other methods is prohibited.
According to the information, since the beginning of the year, 255 vehicles with illegally installed additional fuel tanks have been discovered.
The Kazakh authorities stated that the main purpose of strengthening control at the border is to prevent the illegal export of fuel.
