Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia are working on creating a unified and long-term tariff model for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
Modern.az reports with reference to Kazakh media that this was stated by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at a joint "round table" held with European business circles.
According to him, the parties are also simultaneously implementing a number of important infrastructure projects. These projects include the expansion of the cargo ship fleet in the Caspian Sea, joint dredging works with Azerbaijan in the sea, as well as the modernization of the Kuryk port.
Tokayev emphasized that all these steps are aimed at increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the Middle Corridor.
